South Wales:
The Pet Food Bank Service currently covers Cardiff, Newport, Caerphilly, Swansea, Gilfach Goch, Merthyr and Pontypridd. They provide pet food and pet items for vulnerable people.
Scotland:
Edinburgh Dog and Cat Home (EDCH) has partnered with several Pet Foodbank Groups in Edinburgh, Midlothian, East Lothian, West Lothian, Stirling/Falkirk, and Borders, which provide essential items that will allow you to continue caring for your pets.
Scotland (Aberdeen):
Mrs Murray’s Cat and Dog Home runs a pet food bank. See the Facebook page for contact information.
Nationwide (UK):
Webbox has partnered with UK poverty charity The Trussell Trust to donate pet food and treats to the people referred to the charity’s network of over 420 foodbanks across the UK.
England (Manchester, Sheffield, and Grimsby):
Blue Cross has a section on their website about Pet Food Banks and initiatives in Manchester, Sheffield, and Grimsby.
England (North):
The RSPCA have partnered with 40 food banks across north of England
England (London):
The RSPCA Wimbledon, Wandsworth, and Sutton Branch along with the RSPCA Balham and Tooting Branch, have teamed up with Wimbledon Food Bank to deliver pet food to those who need it.
England (Plymouth):
Bramble’s Pet Food Bank has an active Facebook page and a Go Fund Me Page and Amazon Wish List that you can donate to.
England (High Wycombe):
Pet Food Bank – High Wycombe & Surrounding Areas has an active Facebook page and an Amazon Wish List and you can also donate via PayPal.

Still can’t find a local Food Bank that provides Pet Food?
- Inquire at local animal shelters – they may be able to help point you in the right direction, and many have connections with food banks.
- Social media (especially Facebook) is a good place to find grass root charities or small-scale community efforts.
News update August 2023 – RSPCA trial vet voucher scheme
The RSPCA is trialling a new voucher scheme to help pet owners who need financial assistance to pay for veterinary care.
The vouchers, worth up to £250 each, are being issued by the RSPCA’s frontline officers and through food bank referrals.
